Michael P. Cracco receives award as the Insurance Professional of the Year

Michael P. Cracco, the president of Completely Covered Insurance Agency, Inc. in Massapequa, was awarded the "Insurance Professional of the Year" by the New York Young Insurance Professionals. This award is meant to honor an individual who has strived to further the education and advancement of young people within the insurance industry today. Michael P. Cracco was presented this award because he has made a significant contribution to developing the leaders of tomorrow and has lent time and support to furthering the young professionals' cause.

Cracco has been an active member of the Young Insurance Professionals (YIP) and the Professional Insurance Agents (P.I.A.) since 2001; since then he has served on practically every committee in the YIP as well as chaired the Metro RAP.

Cracco was born on Long Island and graduated High School in 1992. After school he worked at Morstan General Agency where he started as a file clerk, moving up to the mailroom, and then up to the underwriting department where he stayed for several years. Here he met Dennis D'amico, the owner of Sprint Insurance Agency who inspired him to go off on his own. Cracco started his own Insurance Agency in 2001. Cracco now lives in Massapequa (the same neighborhood as his business) with his wife Jennifer and two children Michael and Mariella.
