Congratulations to William Alpert awarded the 2007 Con Edison Scholarship

Lou Rana, president and chief operating officer of Con Edison awarded William Alpert, a senior from Massapequa High School, with the 2007 Con Edison Scholarship for $10,000. Con Edison uses an outside agency in the selection process, which chooses recipients with emphasis on SAT scores, GPA, class rank, community service and leadership. Alpert is also a recipient of the New York State Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
