Congratulations to Amanda Egan awarded a scholarship
      Col. Gilbert Potter Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met at the home of Mary Menkes of Massapequa for their annual business meeting. All chapter officers gave their reports and the officers for the new team were installed by the District Director, Norma Plett.

Marie Murray Mango participates in the Long Island Senior Games
      Recently, Marie Murray Mango participated in the Long Island Senior Games. She competed in two competitions, one at Eisenhower Park and one at Suffolk Community college. She won gold and silver medals for first and second place in horseshoes. Marie is also Ms. New York Senior America 2003-2004.

Suozzi honors Massapequa Eagle Scout
      Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi was proud to honor Eagle Scout Jack Vincent Guida of Massapequa at an Awards Ceremony recently held at the Cradle of Aviation. Jack held a food drive for the pantries of St. William the Abbott Church and St. Rose of Lima Church as his Eagle Scout project.
