George Parublev receives honors from Long Island Lutheran

Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School recognized the achievements of its outstanding students at its Annual Honors Banquet held June 11. Among those honored was Massapequa Park resident George Parublev who received the Varsity Boys' Tennis MVP Award.

LuHi Athletic Awards are presented to the Most Valuable Player on each of the 2006- 2007 interscholastic varsity sports teams. Parublev's Tennis MVP Award recognizes his athletic talent, high standards of sportsmanship and ability to serve as a positive role model for his teammates.

Throughout his career at LuHi, Parublev has been active in many other activities as a member of varsity soccer and Mathletes. He plans to attend New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury in the fall.
