      Ben Dashefsky, a 2003 graduate of Massapequa, where he played varsity baseball under Coach Bob Dell, is playing professional baseball on the Petach Tikva Pioneers in the inaugural season of the Israel Baseball League after being signed to a contract by Dan Duquette.
