American Legion to host veterans event

On September 15, the Edwin Welch Jr. Post 1132, Seaford American Legion will have as its guests the disabled and handicapped veterans from the Northport V.A. Hospital and Stony brook Veterans Hospital. The affair, which marks "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" will have a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner with all the trimmings catered by Runyon's. Irish entertainment by Mike Crowley and Dermie Mack is planned to help make it a great day. The auxiliary and Legionnaires and their wives will assist in serving. For information call 785-9429.
