Bide A Wee to host pet Memorial Day Sept. 9th

Bideawee is hosting Pet Memorial Day, Sunday, September 9, 1 to 2 p.m. at its Wantagh location, 330 Beltagh Ave., Pet memorial Day is a loving tribute to companion animals who are deceased.

Speakers include the Reverend William A.F. Blasingame, Bideawee bereavement counselor Medea Berkman and interfaith minister Patricia Furino. Music will be per- formed by Carolyn Connolly and Andrew Long. Light refreshments will be served.

Bideawee is a not-for-profit humane animal organization. Over one million cats, dogs, kittens and puppies have been placed in loving homes since 1903. For more information go to the organization's website at www.bideawee.org or call 785-4199.
