SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS: Five Massapequa High School Seniors who are now headed off to college received support from Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa in the form of scholarships. The scholarships were presented to Alexander Arnold for athletics, Kristen Grennan for music, Mia Esposito for community service/ volunteerism,Fayrisa Greenwald for academics and Kevin Wong for art. In addition to displaying excellence in academics, art, athletics or music, the student was required to demonstrate a commitment to community and a WOW factor. This was defined as going above and beyond in his/her everyday life. The fifth scholarship - the community service scholarship was given to the student who made the biggest contribution to his/her community.
