Massapequa Park Village Merchants Association What an overwhelming success our August Street Fair was. Thank you all so much for all of your phone calls and compliments about the good time you had at the street fair. I couldn't believe that our restaurants ran out of food at the end of the day and the pickle lady ran out of pickles, much to the disappointment of so many of her customers. I hope you were here and I hope you came home with some great stuff. I want to thank the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park for all of the cooperation that was afforded to us in conjunction with this event. Our streets were so clean and beautiful after the fair that I couldn't believe it. The Massapequa Park Merchants Association will be very happy to donate to another beautification project sponsored by the Village. Thank you everyone. It takes a lot of planning and work to put on an event such as the one we just finished on August 11 and 12 and I want to thank my executive board for their help. Thomas Raad of Edward Jones Investments; John Robinson, land surveyor; and Sue Osterberry of Town Florist all worked very hard on this event. Thanks everyone. We want to thank Richie at Carvel for donating all the ice cream for our ice cream eating contest. The children and teens all had a great time. Thank you to the American Black Belt Academy who put on quite a show on Saturday. Thank you to Tiger Schulmann Karate who put on a terrific show on Sunday. People are already calling for next year's date. As soon as I know the exact date I will let you know. Many thanks to all who came to the fair and supported our Massapequa Park Merchants Association.
