Children's Rag-A-Muffin Parade set for October 28 The North Massapequa Fire Department, in conjunction with participating local merchants and organizations, is hosting its 33rd Annual Children's Rag-A-Muffin costume Parade, Sunday, October 28. The parade will start at noon and there will be no rain date. All children who participate must be registered so that they will be eligible for free prizes.
Registration will be held Sunday, September 30 at the Fire Department booth at the Italian Feast; Friday, October 12, 7 to 9 p.m. during Fire Prevention Open House at Fire Department Headquarters and Sunday, October 21, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire House Department Headquarters, 1000 North Broadway. Late registration will take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 28 at the start of the parade, North Nassau Ave. and N. Broadway.
