Grace Episcopal annual Harvest Fair Sept. 29 Grace Episcopal Church's Third Annual Harvest Fair will be held Saturday, September 29, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the corner of Merrick Road and Cedar Shore Drive, Massapequa. The fair will feature Long Island produce, baked goods, homemade jams and jellies, crafts, jewelry and food for breakfast such as bagels and pastry and lunch, burgers, hot dogs and chili. Children's activities include pony rides from 1 to 3 p.m., games, pumpkin painting and moon bouncer. There will be a yard sale, book nook and art show by local artists. Chances will be available for drawings on prizes including a flat screen TV, Barbecue grill and handmade quilt. There will also be a Chinese auction for theme baskets and a 50-50 raffle.
Fair proceeds are going to the Grace Church Capital Improvement Fund and Habitat for Humanity to help build affordable housing on Long Island. For more information, call the Grace Church office at 798-1122.
