Massapequa Public Library teen programs to begin October 18 The Massapequa Public Library will be sponsoring teen programs during the month of October. The Libraries are located at 40 Harbor Ln., Massapequa Park and 523 Central Ave., Massapequa. Rochelle Chalfen will present a collage program for young adults on two consecutive Thursdays, October 18 and 25, 4 to 6 p.m. at the Harbor Lane Library. The $10 materials fee includes both sessions. Registration is now underway in adult reference at either building. On Monday, October 22, 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Harbor Lane building, Ron-Tan Enterprises will present its annual College Finance and Admissions Workshop. Both students and parents are encouraged to attend. Time for questions and answers will be allotted. This is a free program and you can register at adult reference at either building. On Friday, October 26, 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. at the Central Avenue building, Christine Rissanen returns with her glass painting craft. All materials will be provided. The $33.50 materials fee is payable at registration which is underway in adult reference at either Library building.
