American Pen Women present poetry contest awards There will be a joint reception of the All Cities Branch and the New York State Association of the National League of American Pen women (NLAPW) on Saturday, November 10, 1 p.m. at the Farmingdale Library. Awards will be presented to the artists represented in the exhibit and poetry will be read by members of the NLAPW. Awards will be given to the winners of the high school poetry competition of A Purer World, sponsored by the New York State Association. The Farmingdale Library is located at 116 Merrits Rd., Farmingdale and can be reached by calling 249-9090.
