Senator Hannon congratulates Jessica Mueller winner of the "There Ought To Be A Law" contest

Senator Kemp Hannon (R-6th S.D.) recently congratulated Jessica Mueller as the winner from Plainedge's John H. West Elementary School of Senator Hannon's 2007 There Ought To Be A Law contest. The annual program honors the ideas for New York State legislation, as conceived by local students. Mueller's winning entry proposed: Once the price of gas reaches $2.50 per gallon, the tax on each gallon sold should not further increase. Mueller asked, some other states already have this in place; why not New York?
