William DeCesare accepted into the Institute for the Gifted and Talented at SUNY Old Westbury

William DeCesare, of Massapequa Park, was accepted into the Institute for Creative Problem Solving for the Gifted and Talented at SUNY Old Westbury. DeCesare was recommended by his seventh grade math teacher Mrs. Keller from Berner Middle School to be tested for this program and will be attending classes on Saturdays from September through March. The program consists of 25 students from three age categories both from Nassau and Suffolk and is funded by grants. DeCesare began eighth grade at Berner this fall.
