Town of Oyster Bay Hockey Registration Begins November Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Rose Marie Walker announced that registration for the Town of Oyster Bay Youth Ice Hockey Program will begin on Wednesday, November 7. "The Youth Ice Hockey Program is one of the Town's most popular recreational programs," Councilwoman Walker stated. "It provides youngsters ages six to 13 with the opportunity to hone their skating and hockey skills under the tutelage of certified ice hockey coaches. The program also offers low registration fees of $60 for one child or $90 for two or more children in the same family." Registration will be held on Wednesday, November 7, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Town Hall South, located at 977 Hicksville Rd., Massapequa, as well as on Wednesday, November 14, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park. Registration will also be available at Town Hall South in Massapequa, November 15 to 29, during regular business hours 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) in the recreation office. Registrants must bring a copy of their birth certificate, proof of Town of Oyster Bay residency (license, canceled check, utility bill, etc.) and a check or money order (cash is not accepted) for $60 for one child being registered or $90 for two or more children in the same family being registered. All registrants must bring these items, even if they have participated in the past. A parent or legal guardian must be present at registration.
