Troop 660 Project honors 9/11 victims
On Saturday September 8, over the course of three hours, Boy Scouts from Troop 660 carefully placed 2,974 individual American flags, blanketing the lawn of Massapequa Park Village Hall. Each flag represented a victim of the 9/11 attacks. With approval from the Village to use the lawn, and the flags supplied by local merchant Gail Klubnick, Troop 660 Scouts provided the "elbow grease" to place the flags.
