MSD to host public meeting on MRSA prevention Nov. 8
While there have been no reported cases of MRSA infection among students and staff in the Massapequa School District, the district's concern for the health and safety of its students, staff, their families and the community extends beyond the school setting.
As a result, the Massapequa School District is holding a public meeting, Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Massapequa High School, Main Campus Auditorium. Dr. Kenneth Steier, Nassau University Medical Center, will be the guest speaker and will provide up-to-date information regarding the MRSA infection and ways to protect yourself and your families from the spread of this type of infection.
