Ruth Moje: former long-time Massapequa resident

Ruth Caroline Moje, who lived in Massapequa for 22 years and spent her life caring for her children and husband, died on October 12, 2007 in Lakewood, New Jersey. She was 80.

Born Ruth Caroline Semler in Brooklyn, she moved to Massapequa's Michele Terrace in 1967 and cared for her family and home. In 1989, she moved to New Jersey.

Mrs. Moje leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Edward; her children: John Moje of Farmingville, New York, Lynn Boss of Farmingville, New York, Edward Schneider of League City, Texas and Karen Maat of Norwich, Connecticut; her brother: Clifford Semler of Lake Grove, New York; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Services were handled privately by Laurelton Memorial Funeral Home in Brick, New Jersey.
