FBHS presents Dolls of the World

Come and see the Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society's exhibit Dolls of the World at the Farmingdale Public Library, 116 Merritts Rd. The exhibit includes dolls from almost every country in the world, along with dolls from various parts of the country and provides valuable and meaningful perspective on the heritage and cultures of the families who settled in our area. Dolls exhibited range from a Dutch boudoir doll to a Teutonic Knight, to

"Sunface" Kachina from the Southwest United States. Countries represented include New Zealand, Sweden, Irelanad, Spain, Hungary, China and Italy, to name a few. The dolls have been contributed from members of the community. Come to see if you can find dolls that reflect your heritage. The dolls will in the second floor display area through March 2008.
