Massapequa firefighters honored in Albany
On Wednesday, October 24, members of the New York State Assembly honored firefighters from many Nassau County communities with an Outstanding Firefighter Award. Among the firefighters receiving this award was Massapequa Firefighter William Post. Firefighter Post has been an ac- tive member of the Massapequa Fire Department for 65 years. Post is also a veteran of World War II, where he served as a B-17 Gunner.
