Massapequa Preserve to host bird walk Dec. 2 Massapequa Preserve will be the location for the South Shore Audubon Society Bird Walk on Sunday, Dec. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Bring binoculars. Walk leaders and other birders and nature enthusiasts will be happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. Rain, snow or temperature below 25 degrees will cancel the bird walk.
