Braves 10-Year-Olds win Division championship
Massapequa Long Island Braves 10 Year Old's celebrated their Division win on October 27, 2007 at the NT Baseball Awards Ceremony held at the Long Island Marriot in Uniondale. The boys were treated to a talk from Howard Johnson of the 1986 Championship Mets about how to become Major League Baseball Player. The boys also had a chance of winning autographed Mets memorabilia.
The awards dinner capped off a fun filled season, which included playing a weekend baseball tournament at Cal Ripkin Stadium in Maryland. The team, lead by Coach George Eicher, includes Louis Hernandez, Michael Letzer, Kevin Mazol, Jonathan Walsh, Thomas Meehan, Patrick Trupiano, Jimmy Golaszewski, Brennan Welch, Stephen Koester, Matthew Eicher, Brian Morgan, Anthony Peacock, and Brian Cruse (missing from picture). Also pictured is Coach Thomas Meehan.
