Suffolk County Police today arrested a 29-year-old Massapequa man for the possession of counterfeit compact disks (CDs) and digital video disks (DVDs) of current movies. Police gave this account:

At approximately 1 p.m., Mon., Nov. 9, Second Precinct Patrol Officers Warren Farzatian and Colleen Varley responded to a 9-1-1 call from Costco wholesale warehouse at 625 Broad Hollow Road, Melville. Costco supervisors reported that an employee of Costco was selling counterfeit DVDs and CDs.

The officers found Rashad Giggetts, 29, of 9 Emily St., Massapequa, in possession of 1,100 counterfeit CDs and over 400 DVDs, some of which had not yet been released to the public.
