Farmingdale HS senior outfits students with school supplies

One student from each grade, kindergarten through five, entered school with all of their supplies on their first day thanks to Leigha Snider. This Farmingdale High School senior took it upon herself to outfit one student from each grade with their necessary school supplies.

After rummaging through her school supplies that she has collected over the years, she decided to not only donate what she had in her possession but also to download the list of school supplies needed for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. She bought all of the supplies necessary to complete the full list for one student from each grade.

"She went above and beyond a thoughtful act," said the new Farmingdale High School Principal Glen Zakian, "She has outfitted students with all of their necessities."

Shown in the photo are Farmingdale High School senior Leigha Snider and Saltzman East Memorial Principal Eve Dierenger.
