Plainedge performs Midsummer Nights' Dream

Plainedge High School is presenting an original adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Although the air outside is chilly, this play brings you back to the magic of a midsummer night and a world of powerful potions, mischievous fairies and young love gone awry.

The shows will take place in the Plainedge High School auditorium, located at 241 Wyngate Drive in North Massapequa, on Friday, Dec. 7, 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 8, 7 p.m.

Tickets are $5, but a special promotion on Friday night will allow audience members in for $3 if they are ready to celebrate this "midsummer night" by wearing sunglasses, a Hawaiian shirt, a summer hat, or if they bring a Beach Boys CD.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. For more information on Plainedge Schools, please call 992-7455.
