COMPASS meeting December 11

The Amityville COMPASS (Community, Parents, School, Students) Coalition will hold its next meeting Tuesday, Dec. 11, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Northwest School, 450 County Line Rd., Amityville, at the PPS Suite, at the end of the north side driveway.

At the meeting the Coalition will be provided with further information on the Risk and Protection Model by Barbara Keller and Ann Haney. They will be discussing risk and protective factors that are relevant to the youth in the community. In addition you will be updated on the progress in achieving the group's goals and objectives, as well as the planning of a College Community Forum. Last, the group will conduct a self evaluation of the COMPASS coalition's progress up to this point.
