•The Harbor Lane Library is sponsoring a bus trip to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway, Wednesday, December 26. The cost is $175 per person and includes lunch, show ticket, transportation and tips. Call Jody Brower at 799-0770, extension 316 to reserve a seat.

•The work of local artist Clare Nigro will be on display in the downstairs Gallery for the month of December at the Harbor Lane Library.

•The Harbor Lane Library will have a program on How to Organize Your Hard Drive, Thursday, Dec. 6, 7 p.m. by Stu Gershon.

•On Thursday, Dec. 6, 7 p.m. Marguerite Snider will teach a holiday card craft at the Harbor Lane Library. Registration is required. The $5 fee is due at registration and returned upon attendance at class.

•The Insulin Pump Support Group will meet at the Harbor Lane Library, Thursday, Dec. 6, 7 p.m. The group is for anyone wearing an insulin pump or who would like to learn more about insulin pump therapy. A representative of Animas Corporation will be available to answer questions.

•Primrose Productions will perform Spent, a musical revue about growing older in American at the Harbor Lane Library, Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m.

•The Harbor Lane Library will hold a Contemporary Book Discussion group, Monday, Dec. 11, 12:30 p.m. This month's book is Teacher's Man by Frank McCourt.

•Senior connections has revised its going scheduled hour of operations. The new hours are Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays, 1 to 3 p.m. On Tuesday mornings Senior Connections will meet and operate in the room next to the Reference Desk. On Wednesday afternoons, Senior Connections will meet and operate in the gallery in the lobby in the lower level.

•The movie Hairspray will be shown Thursday, Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 7, 1:30 p.m. Doors open one half hour in advance.

*On Thursday, Dec. 7:30 p.m. a representative from SCORE will be at the Library to discuss the items you need to write a business plan. Registration is underway.

•Friday Fun for all ages and a parent will be offered Fridays, Dec. 7 and 14, 10:30 a.m. You can stop by each week for a fun-filled session of songs, crafts and movies. All are welcome.

•Tai Chi will be offered Tuesdays, Dec. 11 and 18, 11 a.m. The fee is $10 per person.

•On Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1 p.m. Travel Lights, Irma and Bob Mandel will offer a slide show presentation about their trip to Australia.

•On Wednesday, Dec. 12, 7:30 p.m. Joe DeStefano of the Deco Consulting Group will offer a workshop to help you discover how to regain control of your life. Registration is underway.

•Registered yoga teacher Edith Jason, R.Y.T. will be offering yoga Mondays through Jan. 21, 2008, for eight sessions, 10 to 11:30 a.m. There are no session on Christmas and New Year's Eves. Firm, tone and strengthen your body while reducing stress. Beginners are always welcome. Registration is underway.

•On Sunday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m. Gunter Stern will offer a music tribute to Al Jolson. Free tickets are available.

•On Tuesday, Dec. 11, 7 to 9 p.m. Estelle Cohen will demonstrate how to create an seasonal wreath made of faux fruit, dried flowers and real greens. The materials fee of $13 includes every. Sign up is underway.
