Massapequa Park Village Merchants Association
Where commerce and community work hand-in-hand

Once again the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park's tree lighting and menorah candle lighting was a huge success. We hope everyone had a lot of fun. Please continue to drop off food for the holiday at Astoria Bank, Edward Jones Investments and the Massapequa Post Newspaper offices.

At this time we have to give lots and lots of thanks to the Massapequa Art Association, under the supervision of Heather Cullinan. These wonderful students volunteer their time to paint the windows of the stores on Park Boulevard and they do a great job. The Merchants Association will be giving large scholarship to the graduating seniors of this club. It is our way of thanking the students for giving back to the community. There are over 40 students that participate with this holiday decorating. The Art Association donates all of the paints

and supplies to be used for this venture. Many

thanks again to everyone.

The Merchants Association tries to do good things for our community and we greatly appreciate your shopping locally at our member stores. Our Santa Claus will be sitting at Carvel on Park Boulevard, so bring your cameras and take pictures with Santa. He is there on weekends but please call first to see if he is present at the time you want to come down. Free candy canes will be given out by Santa courtesy of our Association.

Happy holidays to everyone, Carol Leff, President, MPMA
