Massapequa Park resident competes for Mrs. NYS

Judith Berman has been awarded the title of Mrs. Massapequa Park. She and her husband Alan have lived here for 28 years and raised three sons, Billy, Tommy and Bobby. She now has a daughter-in-law Jennifer; a grandd aughter Samantha Elizabeth and soon to be daughter-in-law Kristen.

Berman volunteers weekly at a home group helping women who are eager to learn more about the World of God, need fellowship and some who are sick or in dire circumstances.

Her objective for competing in this year's pageant is to be able to reach and empower women of all ages on a grander scale. She has chosen the platform of Teen Challenge International - the faith-based solution for the drug epidemic.

Berman will compete in Niagara Falls for the title of Mrs. New York 2008. The winner of the title is awarded an opportunity to compete at the national pageant, Mrs. United States held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.
