The Farmingdale School District recently announced that renovations at the high school have begun as part of a repair/replacement program. These improvements are part of an ongoing district-wide program to revitalize and upgrade buildings and facilities.

"These improvements are just a start, providing a more inviting atmosphere for the students to learn," said Paul Defendini, the district's business administrator.

The renovations to the high school will include the replacement of selected hallways, ceilings and lights. Additionally, the district is also refinishing the floor of the girls' gym.
