Jennie Nocerino, Massapequa resident, at 100

Longtime Massapequan Jennie R. Nocerino died on November 21, 2007. She was 100 years old and has lived in Massapequa for 26 years.

Born in Brooklyn, she was an accomplished seamstress who began her career beading blouses, according to her sister Antoinette Morea.

Miss Nocerino also leaves behind her brother in law, Joseph Morea of Massapequa; her nieces and nephews: Ralph Nash, Theresa Pilosi, Teresa Benedetto, Nancy Tersigni, Ralph and Frank; and many great neices, great nephews, great great nephews and great great nephews.

She reposed at the Powell Funeral Home, Amityville, on November 24 and 25, 2007. A Funeral Mass was held on November 26, 2007 at Maria Regina R.C. Church in Seaford followed by interment in St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village, New York.
