Veteran of two wars, Henry Bankewitz of Massapequa is honored

On Nov. 30 a testimonial was held for Henry "Spike" Bankewitz honoring his service to the community at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7277, Massapequa. Bankewitz is a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and is a former commander of the VFW Post 7277.
