At the Library... Massapequa Park 40 Harbor Lane 799-0770 •The work of local artist Clare Nigro will be on display in the downstairs Gallery for the month of December at the Harbor Lane Library. •Both locations of the Massapequa Public Library will be closed New Year's Day, Mon., Jan. 1. The new hours are Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays, 1 to 3 p.m. On Tuesday mornings Senior Connections will meet and operate in the room next to the Reference Desk. On Wednesday afternoons, Senior Connections will meet and operate in the gallery in the lobby in the lower level. •On Thurs., Dec. 27, 3 p.m. there will be a Wii party for grade six and up. Registration is underway. •On Sun., Dec. 30, 2 p.m. New York jazz vocalist Christiana Drapkin will perform jazz arrangements incorporating the words of Shakespeare's poetry. compositions by Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Arthur Young and more will be played. •Registered yoga teacher Edith Jason, R.Y.T. will be offering yoga Mondays through Jan. 21, 2008, for eight sessions, 10 to 11:30 a.m. There are no session on Christmas and New Year's Eves. Firm, tone and strengthen your body while reducing stress. Beginners are always welcome. Registration is underway.
