Paul Anglim, former Massapequan, at 45

Former Massapequa resident and father of three sons, Paul A. Anglim died Nov. 26, 2007 at TideWell Hospice in Florida, surrounded by his family. He was 45 years old.

Born on January 28, 1962 in Selden, he graduated from Amityville schools and moved from Massapequa to Florida in his 20s. For many years he worked as a truck driver for Atlas Lines in Tampa, Florida.

According to his family, he loved motorcycles, fishing, music and the news. He was also an avid reader of anything by John Grisham.

Mr. Anglim leaves behind his sons: Corey Peterson, Adam and Ryan; his parents: Jeremiah and Ann; his siblings: Frank, Peter, Kristine Cantrell, Celeste Kusmierski and Nancy Burnham; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Prayer Service was held at the Powell Funeral Home in Amityville on Nov. 30, 2007 by Father Richard T. Stelter, pastor of St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church. Father Stelter officiated a Mass of Christian Burial on Dec. 1, 2007 assisted by the Consolation Ministry and members of the family. A private cremation followed.
