Former Massapequa resident James "Jimmy" Joseph White, Jr. died suddenly on Nov. 11, 2007 at his home in Ocean Pines, Berlin, Maryland. He was 57 years old. A 1969 graduate of Berner High School, he was a star player on their football team. For many years he worked at Coro Transmission in Massapequa.
