Dear Editor: The Massapequa residents are to be commended for their diligent efforts in helping to obtain a significant increase in our state aid for the 2008/09 school year. It was truly a concentrated group effort, with the community attending the Farmingdale Fair Share Rally, as well as cards, calls and visits with our legislators, that brough these positive results.
