Massapequa Park Village Merchants Association

Where commerce and community work hand-in-hand
Carol Leff, President MPMA

We are so sorry to report that due to the fact that our insurance companies will no longer cover our dog show for animal bites or other related animal injuries, we have been forced to cancel the show. This has been a very popular event and we are very sad that it had to be cancelled. However, we are looking forward to our annual August Street Festival which will be held Sat., Aug. 9 and Sun., Aug. 10, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

New Contest: If you will submit photos of your dog or cat to us before July 31, we will choose three winners. They will have the title of Massapequa Park Merchants Association Pets of the Year. Their pictures will be published in our local newspapers. In addition, a large trophy and cash prize will be awarded to the winners. This should be a lot of fun. Winners will be announced at our street fair and prizes will be presented at that time.

Please mail your photos to Town Florist, Attention Suzann, 1025 Park Blvd., Massapequa Park, NY 11762. Photos can also be brought directly to the store. Please also include a note stating the pet's name, what type of dog or cat it is, how old it is and your name, address and phone numbers so that we can contact you.

We look forward to meeting all of your wonderful pets, even though it will be through photographs and not in person. Mark your calendars for Aug. 9 and Aug. 10 and enter our contest.
