•Charles B. Price, of Massapequa, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Keene State College, Keene, New Hampshire on May 11. •Kaitlynn Meehan, of Massapequa, a speech and language disabilities major at Elmira College, was named to the dean's list of academic achievement for the winter term. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Meehan. •Three local residents attending the University at Buffalo were recently inducted into the Omicron chapter of Phi Beta Kappa honorary society. They are Massapequa resident Nikole Seitz, who majors in social science interdisciplinary. From North Massapequa are Paul Canallatos, a biomedical science major and Christine Dejewski, a communicative disorders and sciences major. •Victoria Maksym, of Massapequa, was honored recently at the SUNY Oswego Honors Convocation. She received the Hazel Hewitt Scholarship Fund. Maksym, a junior studying childhood education at Oswego, is the daughter of Sue and Gary Maksym. She is an elementary field hockey coach, elementary student tutor and karate teacher. Her future plans are to attend graduate school.

She is a professional communications major there. •Cristan Nedbalsky, of Massapequa Park, earned a Bachelor's degree in environmental design from Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, Syracuse, New York. He received the 2008 Environmental Design Award, presented by the Department of Design. Nedbalsky is the sole recipient of this award. •The following local residents have graduated from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania: Megan Marie Hillin, of Massapequa, received a bachelor
of arts in engineering and Adam Douglas Lambert received a bachelor of arts in government and law.
•Janessa Myers, of North Massapequa, graduated magna cum laude from Lasell College, Newton, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in fashion and retail merchandising.
•Matthew Giannattasio, of Massapequa, a senior at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, received the Superior Scholarship in Computer Science Award at the college's May 17 Spring Honors Day ceremonies.
