YES Community Counseling Cen­ter is approved by the New York State Department of Education to provide the state's two-hour certifica­tion

training for mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. The next training will be provided on Mon., Aug. 18, 7 to 9 p.m. at the agency's location at 75 Grand Ave., Mass­apequa. The cost is $25 per person. For information and registration, contact YES at 799-3203.
