Slavin completes CIC courses
      Gary Slavin, a resident of Massapeuqa has completed the annual continuing education requirement of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. A 30-year veteran of the industry he has been a CIC since 2002 and is a Metlife Financial Services Representative of Garden City.

     The Brady Bunch, the Senior Citizen Club of Massapequa Park held its installation of officers recently. Nassau County Leg. Peter Schmitt, the Republican Leader of the Legislature, was on hand as the installing officer. Schmitt presented a special Legislative Citation to outgoing President Jeanette Silvestro for her service, proclaiming March 25 "Jeannette Silvestro Day" in Nassau County.
