Massapequa Park Mayor honored by Nassau County Village Officials

The Honorable James Altadonna, mayor of the Village of Mas­sapequa Park and im­mediate past president of the Nassau County Village Officials Asso­ciation (NCVOA), was honored at the 83rd NCVOA Annual Din­ner Gala and Testimo­nial. The NCVOA rep­resents 64 incorporated villages with more than 430,000 residents. More than 300 elect­ed officials and their guests attended the May 8 event, held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. Mayor Altadonna was recog­nized for his leadership and dedication as NCVOA President for 2007-2008. John Venditto, supervisor of the Town of Oyster Bay, addressed the gathering calling Mayor Altadonna a "forthright and dedicat­ed public official."
