Gilbert Potter Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution met at the home of Diane Apgar, Chapter recording secretory, of Ami­tyville, for its annual business meeting. All Chap­ter officers and committee chairmen gave their reports. Detective Bruce Pescitellit of the Ami­tyville Police Force was presented with an award for volunteer service to the Village of Amityville, including his interest in sporting events for youth. Refreshments were supplied by Helen Guglielmo of Babylon, Berenice Giordano of Amityville and Susan Schlossberg of Massapequa. Chapter Re­gent Sue Shreve of Bay Shore poured.
