Karen and Harold Buckley of Massapequa and Joyce and Jeremy Countess of Moorestown, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Kristin Ann and Ryan William.

Kristin graduated from Massapequa High School in 2003. Both Kristin and Ryan graduated from the University of Delaware in May, 2007.

Kristin is a secondary math teacher at Oceanside Middle School and is pursuing a master's degree. Ryan is a civil engineer in Philadelphia and is in the process of relocating to New York where he will be working for Skanska in Manhattan. He is also pursuing a master's degree in engineering.

The couple will wed in August, 2009 and hold a reception at Flowerfield.
