James Altadonna, a 2008 graduate of Massapequa High School, scored four imes on four shots in his college debut, leading the men's soccer team at New Paltz past Weste rn New England College, 4-1 during the Adidas

Kick-Off Classic. The team tied Wheaton 2-2 in double overtime the next day to start the season 1-0-1. WNEC and Wheaton have both made appearances in the NCAA tournament for the past four and five years, respectively.

James' success on the field earned him the title of Player of the Week on the New Paltz website. He is the son of Massapequa Park Village Mayor James and Susan Altadonna.
