Massapequa K of C annual Halloween Costume Parade

The Knights of Columbus, Lady of the Island Council, together with the Village of Massapequa Park, will sponsor the annual Halloween Costume Parade, Sun., Oct. 26 in Brady Park, Lakeshore Road and Front Street. • Gertrude Caputo: 47-year Lindenhurst resident
Longtime Lindenhurst resident Gertrude Caputo, who had worked in Massapequa, died Sept. 13, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. She was 83. She was born to Harry and Mary (Liskin) Fogel on Jan. 30, 1925 in Brooklyn and later dedicated herself to caring for her four children, husband and home. More...
