Luncheon and fashion show to be held Oct. 18

Sisters of Greater Long Island (S.O.G.L.I.), an African American breast cancer support group hosts a luncheon and fashion show, Sat., Oct. 18, 1 to 5 p.m. at Manor East, 201 Jerusalem Ave., Massapequa. The keynote speaker is Alicia Knight-Debrady, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. Learn more about fighting breast cancer and helping the community.

All tickets must be purchased in advance. Proceeds go to help other breast cancer survivors who cannot afford mammograms and other hardships associated with cancer treatment.
