Massapequa Board of Education President Richard Krebs has finished his tenure on the Board. To recognize his many achievements in service for children, Board Vice President Christine Perrino presented Krebs with a commemorative plaque as a remembrance of the time he has spent dedicated to the students of the district since 1994. "Your extraordinary contributions will be felt for many years to come," said Perrino. Superintendent of Schools Charles Sulc added, "Mr. Krebs has always been an advocate for children and the public." Krebs' last duty as a district Board member was to see the Class of 2008 graduate - he was first sworn in when these graduating seniors were in first grade.
