Loving Massapequa Homemaker Dorothy Sessa

Longtime Massapequa resident Dorothy R. Sessa died Oct. 13, 2008. She was 80 years old and was described by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

According to her husband Robert, she enjoyed nothing more than "spoiling" her beloved grandkids and spending time with her family.

Born in Queens Village, New York, she moved to Cleveland Avenue in Massapequa and lived there for 58 years.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sessa also leaves behind her daughters: Carol Speed and her husband Greg and Lynne Friedrich and her husband Greg; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sessa reposed at the Massapequa Funeral Home, Massapequa Park. A Funeral Mass was said at St. William The Abbot R.C. Church, Seaford, on Oct. 16, 2008. Interment followed in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
