The Kiwanis Club of Massapequa recently held its 60th Annual Installation of Officers and Directors at the Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club. Each Oct. 1, a new group of officers and board of directors take over at special dinner or lunch, highlighting the community While Kiwanis makes monetary donations to local area charities, many projects are "hands-on", like building a wheelchair ramp for a disabled resident or clean ups of local parks, with the high school Key Clubs.
